Most helium-cooled MRI systems require a quench tube in order to be able to discharge the helium in a controlled manner in the event of an accident. Each MRI manufacturer has different specifications and requirements with regard to the design of the quench tube.

Dimensioning
The dimensioning of the quench line essentially depends on the length, the required bends and the resulting pressure loss. As soon as the route of the quench line is known, the planning and dimensioning is carried out by Kusanke Shielding. The special outlet must also meet the requirements of the MRI manufacturer. Our trained team will advise you on the routing, the outlet and the position of the outlet pipe in accordance with legal and safety regulations.
Complete delivery and installation
