Magnetic shielding
Magnetic shielding
Our magnetic shields are specially designed to reduce the effects of external sources of interference. These include, for example, large, moving ferromagnetic masses such as elevators, cars or trucks. Magnetic shielding is also used to contain MRI magnetic fields and reduce them to controllable areas. Pacemaker wearers, for example, are protected from electromagnetic fields.
We offer the following shielding materials:
- Magnetic shielding made of mild steel sheets (St 37/S235RJ)
- Magnetic shielding made from electrical sheets (Stabolec)
- Magnetic shielding made of pure iron sheets (Armco)
A distinction is made between floor, wall and ceiling installation:
- The floor shielding is mounted on the smooth, leveled unfinished floor under the HF cabin.
- The wall screening is mounted directly onto a stud wall with OSB cladding prepared on site.
- The ceiling shielding is mounted directly under the on-site ceiling, but can also be suspended if required.
